Philanders Grill & Bar is a locally owned, family-run bar, located on the East side of the Twin Cities Metro in Prescott, WI. Known for their Award Winning Wings, Burgers and Green Bay Packer Football parties.

Our Name

For the man who gave us our town, we figured it was only fitting to name our place after him.

Our name is homage to the man that started this town, Philander Prescott.

Prescott was a native of Phelps, Ontario County, New York but headed west in the spring of 1819. He traveled to Detroit, Michigan, before continuing west to Fort Snelling. Along the way he worked as a miner, a trapper, and farmer and even on a steamboat on the Mississippi River. Prescott also ran trading posts in several locations.

Philander’s Scholarship

We are proud to be a part of this community and believe in giving back to our neighbors. The Philander's scholarship has been aiding kids in the Prescott school district since 2003.

Philanders Golf Tournament

The scholarship is supported by our annual golf tournament, the Philander’s Open. The Tournament is in memory of Pat Gilles and held each year on the last Friday of July.

Official Packer’s Bar

Philander’s is proud to be an official Packer’s bar.

We stream every game live on one of our many big screens. We also have access to the entire NFL network—this means we play every game, every week. So, even if the local channels aren’t playing the green and gold, come on over to our place.
